An Adults-Only Retreat
Realizing that one needs to get away to relax, refresh, re-examine and replenish the body and spirit, our policy is to appeal to persons 21 years of age and older, unless of course, an exclusive booking is secured. In this case, children of all ages are welcome. With our intention to be a retreat to focus on connection, shared learning, and wellness, guests become “unplugged” and unite with each other while enjoying the solitude of our location and the beauty of Chesapeake Bay…harking back to an “old school” lifestyle before the daunting 24-hour news cycle.

As the new owners of Great Oak Manor our journey in hospitality began over 20 years ago. Today, we are focused on providing extraordinary service while creating a deeply personalized experience for our guests. At each touchpoint from the website, through arrival and departure, and beyond we aim to build loyal guests and strong relationships, not scale.
