Exceptional lodging on Chesapeake Bay

The Manor house, the rooms, the setting right on the Chesapeake Bay, the attentiveness of the staff are simply the best you can hope for. My wife and I celebrated our 60th anniversary with a 3-night stay and it was like a 2nd honeymoon. This is an idyllic getaway where the hectic pace of life across the bay just seemed to melt away.

This is the inn we have been looking for! We have stayed in almost 100 historic inns from Maine to Florida over our 55 year marriage. The gorgeous setting, the many cozy places to sit and read, the delicious food, the exceptional service and warm welcoming staff made this our new favorite. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed every minute. The property is quiet and the grounds are beautiful – perfect for a romantic weekend or family gathering. There is plenty to do – a small beach, fire pit, biking, yoga, and watching the activity on the bay.  The property and the manor house are so beautiful you don’t want to leave.

Hands down what sets apart the experience and exceeds any 5 star hotel or resort that I have stayed at around the world is the care and dedication of the owner and team. They are absolutely hands down the best part of the stay and it is one of the best experiences we have ever had as a family.
